Heart of Darkness (Abstract)

Heart of Darkness Joseph Conrad Michael Wheatley

‘Heart of Darkness’ by Joseph Conrad.
Another text studied at A-Level, but this one I really loved!

Heart of Darkness

In the dark heart of Africa, the man rode a boat. In a river in England, the man told the story of the dark heart of Africa and the man who rode the boat. Diamonds. Mining. Some guy who’s diamond mine-ing. Slaves treated like beasts. Further down blood river, attacked by arrows in a storm. The man finds the man. Kurtz, the myth, with heads on spikes. What happens next I can’t remember. Only The Horror! The Horror!
